About Us

A new French and modern language school is now open in Ennis and offers a wide variety of classes for all age groups and levels from 6 years upwards.

Extra intensive tuition in Leaving Certificate and Junior Certificate examination preparation is also available. Our current languages on offer include French, Irish, German and Spanish and we also offer an interpreting service to our business community.

Class sizes are small with a maximum of 10 students per class. This ensures that each student is given the maximum of encouragement and assistance in order to reach their full potential.

All our tutors are native speakers and qualified experienced teachers and hold post graduate qualifications in the language they teach.

Our director, Siobhán Ní Ghiolla Rí, is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where she read Modern Irish and French, and specialises in second and third language teaching. She was awarded the following scholarships as an undergraduate of TCD:

  • Dompierre Chaufpié essay prize
  • Foundation Scholarship
  • Chrys O'Reilly Ireland France Travel Scholarship
  • Scholarship to study the minority languages in France
  • Owen Sheehy Skeffington memorial scholarship for academic merit
  • Moderationship prize for highest marks in the examinations
  • Northern Telecom Canadian Scholarship

Siobhán has lived in France for over 10 years and worked in the French Embassy in Dublin before returning to teaching. She has been teaching in Clare and Limerick for over 7 years and worked in various companies both as a language trainer and interpreter. She is also an examiner with the Department of Education and Science and many of Siobhán's students received excellent results in this year's Leaving Certificate examination both in French and in Irish.
